At this point, I'm pretty sure the self-loathing and paranoia extends far beyond the white kids; the war on the n-word has made a lot of old rap (some of which, for all its antisocial effects, is fun and in its way encouraging) unlistenable in good company, unless it's monoracially black but even then it's not fun to constantly be looking over your shoulders.
