Glad to see you make the move, not only for technical reasons, but because I like to see a company lose business for wavering on free speech, and another gain from supporting it.
I don't care where y'all are, just glad you're back. I discovered BAR in the comment section of an article about Robin DiAngelo after my employer mandated a virtual lecture from her, and I thought I was losing my mind.
Love this for you. I’m glad to offload Patreon, you were the only reason I stuck around. Also, as a Karen, I love a discount on something I was already going to purchase.
Good Luck guys. You are my 3rd favorite podcast, which is less impressive given that you are the only podcast. Seriously though, happy for you and happy to migrate.
I've tried to subscribe to other podcasts on Patreon in the past and found it was impossible to get the website to take my money. Just signed up for an annual membership on Substack and it was easy! Thank you for making the switch to Substack and supporting free speech with your patronage there!
Hey there - glad to see you make the move. I'll happily follow you over here.
One minor note that I don't know is easily fixable, but figured I'd mention it in case it is - as a subscriber now, my private feed has both the early ad-free version of the episode and the regular version that comes out a day later, where on the Patreon feed it only had the ad-free one. It's only a very minor annoyance to have it show a new episode available when it's just the normal version of the episode, but I figured I'd mention it just in case you weren't aware...
Yay! Smart move. My husband was a subscriber. Now that you've moved to Substack, I'm a subscriber. That's double-dipping from our household. We love BAR.
New subscriber! I was very close to becoming a Patreon subscriber, mainly for the Patrons Only episodes, so I'm very happy to see that those are included here!
Long time listener, first time subscriber, so this move pushed at least one freeloader into the paid column.
Two!
Three!
Four!
Too late for the freaky personals :(
Five!

One of your conservative listeners. (My other paid Substack subscription is The Dispatch.)
Liberal, but also Dispatcher!
Dispatchers assemble!

Commenting will be so much easier, too! I hate the commenting format on Patreon.
I rode from Patreon to Substack in one of Jesse's cargo short pockets, and I'm not looking back.
Beautiful infographic.

The highest compliment I can offer Jesse and Katie is that I am learning how to use a new platform just to stay subscribed to BAR.
There are a lot of other cool Substacks too (including, dare I say... Jesse's). I think you'll like it here.

Subscribe city.

I feel like I'm the only person who has never had an issue (on the technical side) with Patreon ever. That said, happy to move where you guys go.

Me too!
